Ron's Famous Cabbage Soup 
 From the kitchen of Ron Hofmeister 

2 cups shredded cabbage 
2 cups diced celery 
4 cups tomato juice 
4 cups water 
2 tablespoons dried minced onion* 
(*could use 1 small fresh onion) 
1 green pepper, chopped 
2 tablespoons parsley flakes 
2 beef bouillion cubes 
Salt & pepper to taste** 
(**Ron uses 1/2 teas pepper for a nice 
peppery taste) 

Mix all ingredients in kettle, bring to boil then turn the heat way down and simmer for a couple of hours or until the smell of this wonderful soup cooking makes you want to grab a bowl and dig right in.
