Gary's Granola Recipe
From the kitchen of Gary Mencimer

6 cups regular Quaker Oats
2 cups wheat germ
(raw or toasted)
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup cashew pieces
1 cup raisins
1 cup honey
1 cup water
1 cup canola oil
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix dry ingredients. Mix wet ingredients. Stir everything together and spread on two large ungreased cookie sheets (with sides). Bake at 200 for two hours or until golden brown. Stir after the first hour.

Gary adds a little of his granola mixture to his cereal (grape nuts) and Maryellen adds a little to her vanilla yogurt. Both enjoy a healthy flavorful breakfast.

The best part of this is that your RV will smell wonderful while this is baking and for a little while after. Heavenly! This beats any granola you can buy in a package.
