| February 1
I have been busy directing our wonderful play here at MountainBrook Village in Gold Canyon. I hope that anyone who is in the Valley of the Sun will call us to get tickets to this delightful play. You won't regret it, I promise. Here is a copy of the article we just sent to the local newspaper.
Present
Reserved seat tickets are on sale for MountainBrook’s production of John Patrick’s tender play, The Curious Savage. The Curious Savage is a charming 1950 comedy about life at “The Cloisters”, a quiet and relaxed mental health facility. Most of the patients certainly have their quirks, but they seem positively normal compared to three high-powered and wealthy members of the Savage family who are bent on cheating their newly committed step-mother out of her fortune. Comedy breaks out in full force as the patients band together to try to outwit the nefarious Savages. The box office is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ticket office at MountainBrook Village in Gold Canyon. All seats are good and tickets are only $10.00 each. Play dates for this, the fourth production at MBV are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 22, 23, and 24 at 7 p.m. and at 5 pm. Sunday, February 25. Please feel free to call ticket manager, Ron Hofmeister (480-288-9745), if you have any questions about the play or how to get tickets. To learn more about our plays and see more pictures, please go to the web site devoted to the Village Players. Poll
The new question is: As a full-time RVer where
do/will you spend your winters?
February 21 I am so excited about this play. Tonight is our dress rehearsal, but yesterday the cast was dressed. Our set is beautiful and I wanted you to see it. ![]()
