I will send out another newsletter in a few days. We have lots to report on. We had a really great time with Tom and Carol Vind and I have some of Carol's special recipes to add to our recipe section too. We have just entered North Dakota (we are at Laramore Dam and it is wonderful). Because it is big, spacious and inexpensive ($12 with Good Sam discount) we like it. They even have a phone jack for email, I will try to catch up. The Vinds had a phone line for me to use anytime too, but we were too busy playing. (between Hackensack and Longville, MN)
Loon with chick loons far away We had fun swimming and at card parties Carol, Tom and Ron ** Carol & Tom ** Tom (back) with Carol Sadly all good things must come to an end. It was time to say "good bye" The storm we headed into as we drove west in Minnesota. Posted July 28 The newsletter went out last night and we said we were going to leave Laramore today, but we decided that since we were through with our work, it would be a shame to not play the lovely golf course here. So that is what we did and we will spend one more night here. This is really a very nice campground. The cost for 9 holes was only $10.00 and only $7.00 for the second 9 holed. The charge to rent a cart is $8. We walked and loved it. |
